Fantasy Football Pre-Season Quarterback Rankings: #10 – Matt Schaub, Houston Texans

I didn’t think Matt Schaub would have the kind of influence he did last year, and I was right.
Did I contradict myself? Maybe…but not really.
I didn’t think Schaub would be any more of an effective passer in Houston than David Carr was, because the team was horrible. Even though Carr had plenty of chances with the Houston Texans, he never had “the chance” and that was why the eventually sent him packing. But in all fairness to Carr, I don’t think there was much he could do.
So when Schaub became the QB, I didn’t there was much he could do, but boy did the new coach coach’em up down there in Houston. The Texans were playing team ball last season; thus, Schaub was effective. But I know some of you fantasy owners want to give Schaub credit for that.
